Good morning, gang. Hope all is well with you and your babies!
Not too much news to share here. Last night, my africans decided they were going to be 24/7 free range with the adults. They came up to coop area when I called for them at nightfall, but refused to go near coop. So I fed/watered them outside and then gander ushered them back down to the pond for the night. Hope they will be ok and I count 4 heads when I go outside in a few minutes. The best part of this is we can now move our 8 older ducks out of garage and into the coop, which will free up the big garage pen for our utility toulouse goslings, who are getting huge! Hubby is also going to fence off our side yard today to make a day-time turnout area for the utility toulouse goslings. I can't wait for them to be able to graze outside!
Once this latest rotation of pens is done, the brooder room will feel very empty with only my two dynamic gosling/duckling duos left in there for by themselves for 2 more weeks, when my grey dewlaps are scheduled to hatch.
Fingers crossed all my babies stay safe and healthy while I am gone!!
