Beem putting one day's worth in the incubator each week just to keep them out of the fridge. I hope I don't have to get deperate enough to try and sell balut. he.gif

I set my feathered brooder babies out into outside pens today.  Might have to move the in tomarrow due to rain chances, but we'll see.

Just signed up 12 year old for 4H.  Not many groups in our area have lots going on with poultry, so Ruth should have fun with all the fancy breeds from show stock. Shes got runners and bantem barred rock for sure.   Decided to buy best eggs I could afford, since I had to go to the trouble either way, might as well be worth it.  Just hope we get pairs, some are due this weekend.  She's just in time to get to show the first time at the fair this year.  Julia is a little disappointed since you have th be 7, and she's got a few monthes too go, and then it'll be too late anyway for this year.

I'm still looking for a chicken group in my area too.  No such luck yet.

1) GilcristHouseKansas

2) Emporia1876House

3) HistoricGilcristHouse&Barn (etc)

4) 1876House_And_Barn

5) OldHistoricHouseRestoration

6) Kansas Centenial House

Which one do you like, or find "catchy"  if any?  do you have a better one?

Can you get "theGilcristHouse"  ?  Or "GilcristHouse" ...  Otherwise I like the ones with the name Gilcrist in it because when people do a search that's the name they'll use. Does that make sense? Or does that matter.

DG: If you're still around.. puppy is doing GREAT and we LOVE her.  She's so smart.  She likes to be outside during the day and comes in with us in the evening.

That's a whole lot of cute ducklings and goslings, you must have been busy hatching the last few days, lol.

love.gif Wonderful hatch rate!

Brrr, no chilly out today! Staying in for awhile, kids keeping me busy since they are inside. Little duckling is almost strong enough for the big brooder, she walks fairly well but still flips quite a bit.

I know so I fed everone and gave extra water to Squishy and the ducks so that DH doesn't have to be out in it.
