I have a llama...big_smile.png  He runs with the cattle and guards the babies.  Sucker will sneak up on you like nobody's business.  I don't know how many times I've found him close, and staring at me.  He's a ninja llama!

To have the best possible fertility with silkies, is to have breeders who are silkied, and non silkied. I hear if the more you bred a silkied, to a silkied, that the feather quality is not as good with the offspring. Thats why I ordered non SQ.... Plus I couldn't aford them lau.gif

That's what I was thinking.  With the non-SQ at Holderread's, the smooth feathered ones still carry the gene, so you will get silkied offspring, it sounds like.  I wish there was someone close that wanted to split an order on ducklings....you have to get 10, and that's not cheap.
