I set my feathered brooder babies out into outside pens today. Might have to move the in tomarrow due to rain chances, but we'll see.
Just signed up 12 year old for 4H. Not many groups in our area have lots going on with poultry, so Ruth should have fun with all the fancy breeds from show stock. Shes got runners and bantem barred rock for sure. Decided to buy best eggs I could afford, since I had to go to the trouble either way, might as well be worth it. Just hope we get pairs, some are due this weekend. She's just in time to get to show the first time at the fair this year. Julia is a little disappointed since you have th be 7, and she's got a few monthes too go, and then it'll be too late anyway for this year.
for Ruth and your eggs! hopefully Julia will be able to join next year

Incubator baby can now hold her head fairly well and is trying to move around a lot more. She keeps flipping, but they all do that when they start. I'm pretty confident she's going to pull through.
Does she look like she's a snowy or a different color?
Cute babies! pocket looks so grown-up

The first one seems to be a pure Khaki:
