I have 3 Internal Pips.  Looks like 2 Ancona and 1 mallard/cross.  I also found a mystery egg by the pool this afternoon.  Wasn't there this morning.  I wonder who that's from.  Looks like it might be Beaker's first egg.  It has a "first egg" look to it.  Surely it's not the appleyards.  No way.  

Also, my cream legbar hen is dying.  I don't know what's wrong with her.  I have her in the garage and she won't move or eat.  She was limping so I separated her and now she won't even stand up.

The most expensive stinkin' chicken I have. Nice.

And I noticed my BAD DOG ate a chicken last night.  Don't ask me how she got it through the coop fencing.  But there is a pile of feathers right there in the yard.  Next to the snake I saw and FREAkED out this morning.  Crappy poultry day for me.

Wow.  I would limit my trips to the MIL house.  And I would be livid.

So, I just got back from urgent care with my 2 year old. She has what I thought was rugburn on the side of her face (weirdo likes to run around the side of the trampoline with her face against the net). Turns out she has impetigo. I remember hubby saying something about our niece being at the hospital last weekend with a rash, so I called to ask him what it was. He told me his mom said a staph infection(umm no, impetigo, which is caused by a staph infection, don't just say staph to make it look better), and that she thought she got it from MY KIDS! I am beyond ****** right now. How dare she blame it on me? And how dare she have my kids around someone with a CONTAGIOUS skin infection and not think it was important to tell me? I would have taken DD to the dr a long time ago if I would have known she'd been around that, and just found a blister on youngest dd so she has it too because no one was responsible enough to inform me they'd been around it. His mom works part time in a nursing home, and runs a day care out of her house, niece's mom(her dd) works at a daycare, so my kids are always coming home from there with pink eye, snotty noses, etc because she never tells me when the kids there are sick. Apparently this whole time she's been blaming them getting sick on my housekeeping, not her daycare kids.  Ok, rant over, sorry guys!

Yes, when it sstarted way back when.  I'm going this time.  It is one of the biggest exotic animal sales in the midwest, and the biggest in KS.  Any weird asp animal apparently.  Also swan, rhia, ostrich, emu, camel, llamna, mini cattle, mini horses, hatching eggs for rare ducks, swans, actual birds....  (I'm gonna get a milk goat if i can, they have some of those too)  I can't wait to try to get a swan egg!

why are people so flakey?

i have someone who wanted to come get 1 dozen duck eggs today(hes been waiting for over a month)

i finally have 12 eggs.  the oldest are 2 weeks old(he knows this)

have no heard from him on a time.

if he does not come get them tonight i am sticking them in the bator!! (is this bad?)

i will not let them go to waste.

i have other people on my waiting list, butttt  they all want them shipped and i dont want to ship 2 week old eggs. they will have to wait until the girls pick up their laying.

so if he does not come get them. miss grouchy broody duck will get sumthin other than a golf ball under her tummy.
