I just checked the goose calculator, and a buff gander over a grey goose will give you buff geese and grey ganders, which would be pretty cool if that's right. Grey gander over buff goose = all grey.

Speaking of horses, it's past time to go feed our horses their morning grain and check on our feathered kids. Off to do my chores.

Have the loose air cell ones developed, and or hatched?  Other than the really wonky one?  She had 2 auctions...one for 2 grays, and one for 2 buffs.  So I guess a total of 4 because I'm not expecting her to send extras.  She offers a very reasonable price on them, I was suprised.  I was wondering about the crossing of the two in case I end up with a pair made up of a buff and a gray.  Crap...may have to get another set of each...argh!

They do develop if set upright.  I have a 50/50 hatch rate for them.

Now that is very good information...makes me feel better about getting at least a pair from the 4 eggs.  I'm thinking I want the buff gander and the grey goose....sex link Dewlaps would be very cool!   Oh my....got to figure out to fit them into my incubator!

Oh...in the past I have done geese in a still air bator....is a forced air Genesis alright, then move to still air for hatch?

Ok..that sounds promising.  I just hope out of the four I get a pair.  I set 28 Silkie eggs with loose air cells in varying degrees....couldn't just throw them out so maybe I'll get a few chicks.

Dutch, I think you have a very good chance of hatching a pair from her eggs, but if all else fails, she also ships gosling pairs a surprisingly low price.
