Helen: Daria, do you have to look at everything in such a negative light?

Daria: Could you possibly be referring to the harsh light of reality?

Saltwater tanks don't have to be that much work.  We had one for years - moved with it like 4 times, too.  You can get really into it - do a reef tank, spend tons of money, etc.  Or, you can keep it low key, just buy the hardier (and cheaper!) fish, and not worry about it.  We just had damsels, clown fish, and a few others that I can't remember now.  Even the cheapy fish are pretty - I think much prettier than freshwater.

Honestly, it wasn't any more work than a freshwater tank.  Now, you can even buy the saltwater so you don't even have to mix it up.

When we sold our last house, we left the tank with the neighbor.  Did not want to move that thing again.

Thanks for the information. The LFS said it's not that hard either but with my luck I'd kill everything th.gif. The store owners are actually planning on retiring in the next 3 years. Buy a fish store?  I could see me doing that lol.png

What is it with Waco?!  I never see these weird random things (not the geese so much, but the other critters) on the Seattle area craigslist.
