I guess I expected the kind gesture in return.    I am not much of an *** kisser but I really did feel bad.  Sometimes I put higher expectations on people than I should.  It is a very bad personality defect.  My bad.  This bug has been officially squashed.

Food coloring.

If you want it to stick a long time add a little vinegar, that's what I did when I dyed my silkie and she still had green down almost a year later. lau.gif

He said they were all doing great last night & this morning before he left.... This makes me soooo sad hit.gif  ALL the others that went into homes are doing fine.

Man that sucks.  But it sounds odd, too.  Was he using one of those big red bulbs?

I've had roos do this before....they end up being big birds.  It's like their bodies are in such a hurry to grow, that the feathers get left till later.  I especially see this in Orpingtons...they are slow to mature.  I'm going to say it's a roo.
