Good night all! I have a nice, hot, hopefully quiet bath in my future. Without ducklings.

I'm Kelly. Married to my enabler, man of my dreams, love of my life, builder of my duck houses. Mom to two awesome, if not a bit wild, children. Adopted mom to a mixed flock of ducks (Runner, Pekin, Cayuga, Swede) and a not-so-bright rescue dog named Mack. Auntie to all the animals at the farm I work at. Yeah, I have a 250 watt white bulb but for my brooders. my husband put a switch on both of them so that I can crank them up or down. 250 would be wayyyy to hot without a switch but I like having them to where I can keep my brooders out on the back porch even during the winter if I want to

Yeah, the 250's are great for something like that....or hanging in a good sized coop.  I've used them in the winter to keep a coop from going below freezing when I was raising Dutch bantams.
