the rabbits are my kids pets, i don't think i would have the heart to eat a rabbit, doing in the drake was hard enough
and the meaties are pretty! i will never get over how fast they grow these guys are only 3 weeks old and the red girls on the roost with it are 8-9 weeks
Rabbits are easier for me. They are cuter, but I don't like them very much. I've had mean ones, and the mass and smell they make rival ducklings. Much easier to process then chickens once the killing part is done.

My 2 1/2 year old leaves the ducks alone, but does chase the chickens sometimes. They generally just squat when she comes up to them though and let her pick them up. Lately she's been staying away because of butthead roo.

x2. Doesn't matter to me if you smack your kids but or not, but hitting faces bugs me.

No offense to any redheads or stepchildren....I am no biggot.
I say that too, lol.

The hen I already had....can't see her eyes!

Here are the little babies...3 white Calls, the one in the very front is the youngest. 2 white Silkies, a partridge Silkie, and a chocolate/white scovie duckling.

Marty, I could not get the four together today, so I took pics of each duo. Even then it is hard to get both Erin Toulouse and Molasses to pose at the same time. Barley and his buddy, on the other hand, love to pose.

Lol. Mine get their butt/hand smacked, doesn't matter where we are. Have no problem with people that don't believe in it as long as they control their kids. Out of control kids make me want to smack their parents.
Depends on how old it is. Mine lived in a 10 gallon until she outgrew it. Snakes aren't very active and the general rule for enclosure size is 2/3 of the snakes length.

Some stories I have of peoples kids at my house! My kids know respect at another persons house, & they listen
Hate that. Don't care who's kids they are, they are expected to behave at my house. If I lose a sale I lose a sale, I only have enough patience for my own kids, lol.

Good luck, you'll get your silkie soon!

My kid doesn't scream and shout and waaaaaa and throw tantrums. She just does what she wants. I have a hard time with her. And this town I live in is snooty so I get looks all the time. I've started going to walmart in the neighboring rural town so I can get away from these peeps. They look at me like "Oh my gosh.. look at all those kids she has!"
Um... is 3 really THAT many?? Cuz my husband's one of ten kids, and not that long ago if you didn't have at least 6 kids people felt sorry for you!
This world.. (sigh).
Oh and my kid I'm referring too.. she isn't a brat.. she just doesn't listen. I have to say her name 4 times before she even looks at me.
Mine's the same way. And since my youngest are so close together I get the same looks. Whatever, kiss my a**. Most of the time when we are out and she throws a fit it's because she's been put in the cart or something for not listening. So I get dirty looks for her screaming. And everyone else's kids are doing whatever they want, so she doesn't understand why I won't let her. Makes me almost want to just let her get her way and run under feet and get in everything and everyone's way like everyone else's kids do.
