What color dutch?  CONGRATS TO ALL THE NEW HATCHES!!!!!!!!!!!

A small flock of ducks (3 welsh harlequins and a rouen) a pair of american geese, a lovely anatiolian shepherd, and 10 ducklings ariving on march 18th!!!!!!

I hear ya, girlfriend!  After I hatch out these silkie eggs, and the broodies finish hatching their eggs, I'm done.  I keep scrambling to find places to stick birds as they are moved out of their house brooders.

Hey guys, for those of you who do not follow the goose thread, I wanted to share a short video of Spirit, my gimpy goose, doing her thing. big_smile.png

 

My menagerie includes 5 horses, 3 dogs, 4 cats, 32 geese (dewlap toulouse & african) and 10 ducks (muscovy, ancona, cayuga & silver appleyard).

She's getting around really well!  Sort of looks like she's been drinking, though...lol.  It's cute how she talks the whole time she's puttering around.  love.gif

I thought I'd post an update to my horse's injury.  The gash has pretty much sealed up, and the skin edges are coming together nicely.  I'm thinking another week, and I'll be able to start leaving it unwrapped and doctor it that way.  Now the question is what sort of damage was done to the cartilage, and such, deep down in the foot, and will he be sound or permanently lame.  I'll be glad to be done with wrapping!

Thanks, Dutch!  She does seem to still teeter in her balance, but every day she shows big improvement.  And yes, she is quite the chatterbox!
