I hear ya, girlfriend! After I hatch out these silkie eggs, and the broodies finish hatching their eggs, I'm done. I keep scrambling to find places to stick birds as they are moved out of their house brooders.
I have a question........... will we be scrambling EVERY SPRING for places to put BABIES ?????

I thought I'd post an update to my horse's injury. The gash has pretty much sealed up, and the skin edges are coming together nicely. I'm thinking another week, and I'll be able to start leaving it unwrapped and doctor it that way. Now the question is what sort of damage was done to the cartilage, and such, deep down in the foot, and will he be sound or permanently lame. I'll be glad to be done with wrapping!
