Thank you all for the advice on the last few bator days. I still have not moved them, waiting till dark tonight so we can do one last candle on them while we move the egg turner out of it. My 12 and 6 year old said they could swear they heard pipping this morning. Thankfully they know better than to open the bator when it is not needed.

They have the eggs numbered and are looking forward to one last peek before lock down so they can record things. And then we wait....

CG....love the Call babies!  What a nice variety of color, too!  I have one of those flat tubs, and it's had many a waterfowl in it.  It's great in the winter because it won't crack, and perfect for youngsters to learn to bathe in.  What sort of treats do you feed them?

My little gray and blue magpie are starting to get feathers on their butts. They are adorable. They follow goosey around like it's their momma, and the gosling follows me or Chuckie. Chuckie is the sweetest bird, she loves all her friends. Duck, goose, chicken, and turkeys, lol.

Mine just have their tail feathers starting and pin feathers by their scent gland. The grays down color has changed though, it's developing a ring around it's neck and it's belly is a different color than at hatch. Which I think is weird, never had a ducklings down change colors before.

Ahh, pet quality... makes sense..... Don't like the look of ANY show bird?  Only pet quality?  I personally like show quality better in any bird, but everyone is different :)
