Yes...guinea's feathers are designed to release if something grabs them...that's why they are so hard to catch.  I don't know how many times I've ended up with a handfull of feathers trying to catch the buggers!  Need a dart gun!

One city boy husband that I'm converting to a poultry boy, 3 daughters, 3 Mallards, 2 dogs, one cat: and the bator's plugged in.  Hatching addict, BYC addict and you can find me in the forum "formerly known as hatch day is today" with my friends: Miss Lydia, Critterrun, StillMecle, GrannyCarol, JulieNKC, DuckGirl89, 70%Cocoa, Evelle and JazminesZoo.  I love my Gurlz!

I still have not recieved them, and you sent them Priority flat rate box right? It should only take 3 days (4 days tops)  So they might be getting returned to you??? I have never had lost eggs before...

Quail are hatching when should we give them water and food and what in dont have any thimbles or anything that small and should we give them vitimans

One Rooster 12 hens, 1 pair geese, 12  toddler ducks, 1 toddler gander, 2 Baby geese, 2 doe rabbits, 1 buck rabbit, 10 baby rabbits, 3 dogs and eggs in bator

No doubt...I can catch chickens, ducks, geese...without much trouble.  Even been asked why I don't have a net and I just smile and say I'm quick.  But guineas?  Yeah...pain in the rump to catch!
