Utah: Sorry about your girl! I hope she gets to feeling better soon! I've been worried about her. Great that she's got someone taking great care of her!

Just wanted to give you all a pic of the lil one all dried out. I think my Rouen got hold of my cayuga girl. This should be an interesting mix? lol.png

Also made an order today for some Blue Swedish, and a mate for our Slate Blue Turkey! She's been trying to brood infertile eggs. fl.gif that they all make it okay! After everything I've been hearing, I'm pretty worried~!

Did alot of Sex ing tonight !

 

Found out I have 3 CAYUGA Drakes & 11 females !!!

 

& We did ALL of my geese ~ 16 geese!

 

9 turkeys caught & wings clipped

 

4 of my other ducks sexed !

 

Was a crazy netting cornering & chasing fiasco  ! ! Wack Wack Wack    (I don't think my ducks go quack lau.gif)

Heres a pic of my newest sebbie.  Its a girl.  My lone grey dewlap is a boy.  I gave in after years, and got bifocals.  Now I can see to vent sex.  big_smile.png  Its much easier than making my kid hold the bird, and me get the vent ready, and grab the magnifying glass to peek, or try....

Rachel, thanks. She is doing a little better today and is happy to have a grey dewlap buddy, but not warming up to hubby or me... Can't say I blame her.

Cute duckling! Is the mark on beak and face the coloring? Otherwise, it looks like my Cayuga hatchlings.

Jaz, glad you got a great Cayuga ratio! Did you get your fancy eggs yet?

Just got back a little while ago from a farmer gathering. They had Joel Salatin give a talk. Good stuff.

 

Returned home to utter chaos. I need to get my hubby away from the children before he ends up on the looney bin. So I took him outside, pointed to his money pit boat and told him he was going fishing next weekend or else. The "or else" option is that I'm sending him off to the farm to volunteer on the weekend helping fix tractors. I want him out of the house.
