Somehow I missed this yesterday.  That's a hard decision, for sure.  Don't be too hard on yourself if you do re-home them (or if you decide to keep them yourself).  It sounds like you have their best interests at heart either way.

Does that make me a bad potential owner? I guess it just depends on how you look at it.

Well have hatched a BUNCH of CUTE ANCONAS & CAYUGAS!   My two faves to to hatch

Jaz...I know you may eat him someday.  So if I decide to part with him, I'm fine with that. smile.png  Although I don't think I could kill and butcher my own birds, I do think that that is the best way to eat.  That way you know they had a happy, healthy life before they became dinner.

Good morning everyone!  I am trying hard not to check those muscovy eggs every day, but I peeked through the window and they still look like they are doing good fl.gif.

Hey Jaz! I saw your comment about the pekin boys. Would love to work a trade if you're still interested. Send me a PM.

Haven't been online much lately. Transitioning into 10 hour workdays and keeping busy at home. Got one batch of eggs in the hatcher and two more in the bator until I'm done for a while. Was really happy to turn one of the bators off the other day. One less thing to check every day.

Wow, we're knocking them dead with the posting these days, aren't we?

Why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

Why is there brail at drive up ATMs??

Why are their floatation devices instead of parachutes in my airplain seat???

If a tree falls in the woods and my husband doesn't hear it, am I still wrong????

I've got my incubator back up and running. big_smile.png One of my calls decided to start laying and has laid me 2 eggs so far, so of course I'm trying to incubate them. Was shocked, wasn't really expecting any eggs until fall at the earliest. wee.gif

Julie!!  Good to see you.  I was just bumming with Kevin that it was very dull here now that nobody is hatching.  You and psue and gq have given me a reason to keep checking in!

Hows the squirrel?
