I'm afraid that some of the photos posted by Franky of antiquus are hybrid. We don't know enough about this species and I'm worried that it will become extinct before it has been officially described to science.

Note- P. a. bokorensis is even more iridescent and luminescent in colouration than the nominate annamensis.
Also- for the green forms the head and neck are still a bit too large in comparison with the wing. Domestic peafowl have substantially smaller wings than wild ones. The head and neck are too large for the body in illustrations of wild species including wild cristatus and wild Sri Lanka race of cristatus.
