Looking for a chicken apron/saddle pattern

Hi all! I just adopted some hens that are pretty naked right now and i would like to make them some aprons. I can sew, crochet, and knit so a pattern for any way to do it would be great. I would prefer to crochet or knit, but will sew. I also have some fleece so maybe that could be a no sew or minimal sew project. Any help would be awesome!

(scroll way down; this is no sew and the one I use)

You can also make a saddle of duct tape, just tape across the feathers and wait til they molt it off.

Thanks so much! I was doing searches but coming up with sites that no longer had the active post. So the one you use is just polar fleece with some slits in it? I might have to try that as I have some. I also have some cotton material as well. I wonder if I have any snaps, elastic, or velcro. Must go on a material hunt now!

Just google Chicken Aprons or Chicken Saddles and you will get some patterns.
