Hey everyone. My girls (6 of them) are 6 months tomorrow. They are 2 NHR's, 2 RIR, and 2 BR. This morning the friendliest of them all, we call her Daisy, was squawking up a storm. She started at about 630 am and continued for at least an hour. We thought maybe she was getting ready to lay her first egg, but so far nothing. Is this behavior that chickens display before they are about to lay? Just wondering...
