Yes, it is truly a remarkable piece. It is just achingly beautiful :) , and SO much fun to play. If you familiar with Debussy, my fav. at the moment is girl with the flaxen hair :) Give it a look on youtube ;) you won't be disappointed. Actually I can post videos here now, HOORAY for the new backyard chickens !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God bless,

Tyler.

Honestly this is not exactly what I think of when I think about how this piece should be played. For me it needs to be more lyrical, but this is probably the best on youtube right now ;) .

Ok big news.........! :D I finally made some time yesterday to sit down and start composing a peice of music for the piano. HOOORAY!!!!!! celebrate.gifI will be working on it as time allows. I'll have to write sheet music along with it as well. i will most certainly post it here when I get done. i am soooooo excited. I just hope I have enough time today to really work on it. On another note, is there anything going on in piano land ?

God bless,

Ok, I know that the sound is bad but it is all I had at the moment. :) Here is I am playing the the First Arabesque ( the part I know anyway :D ) Let me know what you think. BTW, this piano is horribly out of tune, so just bare with me :) .

I've played for like 6/7 years. It is so fun! You'll get the hang of it, don't worry. I'm trying to learn the guitar also.

The other day my mom asked if I got her e-mail, I said "no, not yet" she looked disappointed, and said "Oh! I get it, you're too busy on 'backward chickens!" Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!

Lovely! Makes me want to sit down at the piano now and play a tune or two. love.gif

I've been playing for little over six years, and I am loving it so much! I always feel so happy when I sit down to play, its very relaxing and peaceful for me. :)

Hey Guys!  I do not play the piano but I have always wanted to learn. I have so many cd's of piano solos and I listen to them over and over again. It's like you live and breath the music.  Is it too late to start at the age of 46?  I have never played a musical instrument in my life. However on the good side, my Grandfather played banjo, guitar, fiddle & sang at the old barn dances in his youth.  My Uncle and my Mom play the guitar however they both do not know how to read music. They would just get together to pick and sing.  And oh, I remember has a small child sitting in the guitar case singing along with the adults and loving the music.  So I do have some music in my blood.  How do you go about finding an instructor?  And are those new keyboards (cheaper than a full size piano) good to start on?  Any tips or suggestions would be great!!

PS:  I taught my Mom how to ride a horse when she was 60 years old.  She is now 65 and can out ride me!!

Okay it's been forever since I posted so I thought I would upload some sheets to a piece I'm working on. @livenwpeeps Music memories are the greatest!! And your NEVER too old to start learning an instrument. But you do have to practice. ;) Anyway here are the sheets.
