No, I don't, the wall is open, always. The wall is facing south-southeast. I have had 30 MPH+ winds blow directly at the open wall. But it is as calm and still in the coop as it is in your living room watching TV. Reason being, is that there is no pathway through the coop, for the wind to go. When the coop is in winter mode, the side windows, and the upper transom windows are shut. I get max fresh air exchange, and the birds are never chilled by any drafts. I'll tell you one thing though, if the wind is blowing strongly at the open front, I better have a good grip on the door handle when I go into the coop, because the wind is going to use that pathway.
