I think I am going to build a 8x10 coop so I can just make it the way I want and function I am just going to see what this person I am talking to that builds custom coops I told them a budget and size and they said they can see what they can do so I will see. And let u know what I choose to do and I will start a coop process thing under the coops section and I will provide a link with info and pics of the coop there

HeeHee!  My DH had the first Tandy and Commodore 64 and another one before those!  I don't think there was even home internet connection yet in those days?

I'm not a DIY person and though the Barn Coop style is cute and looks like more headroom, the Gable style looks a bit less involved connecting the joints.  What do you think?  We considered these DIY coops also and it looked like a nifty idea but we aren't builder savvy or have the proper tools.  I think good coops are expensive whether you buy ready-to-assemble custom-built  (like we did for $2000 delivered) or you spend $$$ on quality materials plus the time you spend building (time is money also if you calculate minimum wage by the hour and the $$$ spent in needed tools, paint, lumber, nails, screws, nestboxes, hardwire for an added run, perches, feeders, etc etc).  On the other hand if you are builder savvy and have the tools and money for materials to finish it, either style will be your choice.

Ya I like the other one that didn't look barn style and I am 5.6 so I need the head room being that most coops don't have very much head room like in my coop the walls are five foot tall and then I have to stand in the middle of the coop at all times or I end up hitting my head off something. But I think I am just going to build one the size and the way I want I am thinking am 8x10 and I would be the one paying for the materials even though my dad will tell me to put my money away when I go to pay for it. But I won't argue with the money thing 😂

No public 'Internet' but there were plenty of private/public BBS (bulletin board systems) at the time, they were slow and limited but you were technically 'online' even if in very limited capacity using your phone line...

1Peter 5:2 Care for the flock that God has entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly—not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God.

Yep, BBS's.  Mine was the Crenshaw County BBS.  A small, low-user, one-line board.  Brought in the internet and RIME (Relaynet International Mail Exchange) via "Planet Connect" which was a small satellite receiver system...would steadily download zip files and mail and periodically call via landline to upload messages to the appropriate mail exchanges.  USRotics had their sysop program where you could buy modems at a discount.  It was fun but the current internet is much faster with lots of info on the highway. ;)

Job 27:3-6   All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;  My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.  God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.  My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.
