Hi! Just wanted to say hey to y'all! Y'all have helped me immensely over in the past 6 months, so I wanted to join! This seems like a great place filled with awesome knowledgeable, chicken lovin people! So happy to be a part of it big_smile I am almost 22, and have 44 hens and roosters that I've bought/rescued from auctions and various places. I eat chicken, don't get me wrong, I just don't like seeing the 'spent' layers whom arn't at the top of there game anymore and have been in cages all there life go for meat. What's wrong with a lil retirement? big_smile I love chickens of all types, no discrimination here wink I have everything from a banty, to a frizzle silkie, to big rhode island reds and jersey giants! Anyhoo, glad to be here!

Flowers have an expression of countenance as much as men and animals. Some seem to smile; some have a sad expression; some are pensive and diffident; others again are plain, honest and upright, like the broad-faced sunflower and the hollyhock.
