Freezing eggs in ice cube trays

I haven't ever frozen eggs, but need to do that. I really like the very flexible silicone ice cube trays. I'm not sure how they do with eggs though. I know they work really good with regular ice.

From my understanding, you whisk/scramble them first, then put them in ice cube tray or ziploc bag or something and then let thaw before using.

I make about 2 loaves of zucchini bread every other week (slices go in DH lunch). In the summer when I have loads of zucchini and eggs, I freeze the amount of each needed for my recipe in quart ziplock bags and just thaw in the refridge before using.
