Up for your consideration is this typey black silkie cockerel. He is approximately 6 months old, has good feet, a very dark comb and as you can see, extremely nice type. He does have some color in his hackle, but could produce clear blacks. He would also be a good cockerel to use in a partridge breeding program. He comes from an NPIP certified and AI tested clean flock and was vaccinated for Marek's Disease at hatch. He will be shipped the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, weather permitting, in a new USPS approved shipping box and will be provided with canned corn to keep him hydrated during his trip. Local pickup is also welcome. All of my birds are on a regular regimen of worming and treatment for parasites and he will be bathed before shipping.
