I have turkey decorations.  I am hopeful that someday I may also have real turkeys to round out the theme in my yard. lol

My mom has a plastic light up turkey, that thing is funny.

MIL has stuffed turkeys (no pun) that sing Turkey In the Straw.

My kids make me insane when we go to their house.

They can't make any money off of people being thankful, because if we are thankful for what we have, we don't need to buy more.

Besides, you gotta love a holiday dedicated to food droolin

I'm going to feed my family sweet potato pie without telling them hide

I'm told it tastes the same as pumpkin, but I refuse to believe it.

I am a firm preacher of using ANY kind of squash for pumpkin pies....

But I hate yams/sweet potatoes....

Mmmm, no, you can't really tell the difference.

I developed a love for sweet potatoes wthe the first pregnancy. Still LOVE them! Backed, fried, french fried, in a pie... YUM

ETA:  NOT those things in a can, only fresh lumps of yummy root droolin

Yet more evidence that you should move to the South.  All the restaurants offer baked or french fried sweet potatos on the menu.

One crisis at a time, please.
