Australia - Six states..and that funny little island. - Page 171

Correct Luke- The "Isa brown Rooster" is my own creation by back breeding via white Leghorn stock.

They tend to breed fairly true.

82 chooks, one peacock, 19 Boer goats and two dogs.

Semi-retired and living on a little farm on the edge of the Bunyip State Forest

14 hens 6 pullets 2 ducks 6 chicks and 5 quails, still reckon I could fit some more in....somewhere!!!!

Ash love your girls. Oh and your peacock. I would love a peacock but they are on my banned list lol. Hubby says they are to ruddy noisy. Also would love a cockatoo but hubby has put them on the banned list too for the same reason. Lucky he can't ban the black cockatoos that land in the trees tongue.png

The eggs though small are really yummy. I use them for baking alot. Some people eat quail but I am not sure I can bring myself to do that. I sell some of my excess eggs to the Asians. The pickle them like they do duck eggs.

I also have a banned list except I think it is MUCH bigger than yourssomad.gif which is annoying.

I'm not sure why but I don't  like the Idea of having a cockatoo or parrot unless it was aloud to fly around and then came back when I called it.lol.
