on the side of her face, especially because of the sedation required. Then I realised it was hair clippers and could see the long hair .. doh, silly me Appps
that is great news about Colonel and I have my fingers crossed that Winry starts to come good soon
We have some showers predicted today, 70% chance of 1 to 5mm and there was a light drizzle this morning when I delivered breakfast to the princesses. Tomorrow there is an 80% chance of 3 to 15mm. Saturday 95% chance of 30 to 80mm!
Not that the girls and I need any more reasons to love their new digs; not having to juggle covers due to rain is definitely one. Not only is their run covered permanently now but they have a nice, big, raised coop that they can hang out in
No more worrying if they are going to be OK and able to stay out of the rain [which they do not like]; no more having to bail water out from the covers where they have sagged and pools are forming with the weight of water; no more worrying about them having to squish into a small coop to stay dry; no more having me get soaking wet trying to keep them dry and repositioning covers that the wind might have moved. For the first time since owning chickens, I will be able to sit inside, maybe even enjoy a movie knowing they are going to be OK, if not a little miffed that free range is probably not on the agenda
