It could be anything.  Have you wormed them recently?

Mine are eating a lot of fallen fruit - thats makes them  runny.

I am excited to say that I have got some new indian runners. 3 Females and 2 males. I saw an add on farmstock for some that a lady was selling due to travel plans so I snapped them up. 1 white female 2 brown and 2 white and brown males. I haven't been able to get pictures as my pen i keep them in for a month when new is in my garden with the bananas. When I go to get a pic they bolt into the banana plants lol.
I am in love with the white one as i always wanted white runners. Does anyone on this forum know where i could get some hatching eggs(white runner) or perhaps a male (QLd local for the male) eggs can be posted.

Hi Satay,I have been away, but congrats on the new brood!

Yesterday's history, tomorrow a mystery, today is a gift and that's why it's called the present!

wee.gif  So happy to hear of your new duckies Satay.   And I know of someone else who is currently enjoying/  not enjoying/ enjoying / not enjoying the weather here in Melbourne that is getting some new duckies tomorrow to!!!   The weather is all over the place right now- so glad for the nice days coming alternate to the not so nice ones.

I know of a few people with whites- but much like mine- not many eggs right now as they are molting- but I hope you manage to find a nice white drake soon.

Wow, it's been a long time since I was one here...

Welcome, ChookyDeb! To be honest, it takes me a long time to get to Sydney, but I have quite a few relatives there - my grandfather's from Sydney originally and 2 of my mother's siblings and their children live in Penrith. Can you introduce your poultry to us, too, please?

Hey, any reason you're heading over there, OtherRachel (Fierlin)? I know it's school holidays then, huh?

And congratulations on your new ducks, Ducky!

About the wierd poo thing... I have no idea. I never really pay attention to their poo but it changes a lot, depending on what they've eaten (just like people poo). And this entire paragraph is a little disgusting, so I'll finish it now.

Well, an update on my quails: they're a week old today! Can you believe that? It seems like I only just put the eggs in the incubator. Seriously, quails grow so fast! My little peeps have just about quadrupled in size, and they're pretty well-feathered already, their wings and their upper backs and some of their chests. I'm amazed at how quickly they're growing up.

I'm going over there with my German exchange, it was great when she elected Sydney as her preference for an out of town visit. I love going to Sydney, but we never really have an excuse to go. ya.gif

Time flies when you're having fun, doesn't it? wink.png
I remember I was on holiday for three weeks when my chicks were younger... when I got back, I didn't recognise them. They'd turned from cute little chicks to massive, feathered spheres with heads shrinking into their plumage. lol.png

No birds yet, I'm in the middle of building the coop and I'm going to pick them up on friday

We used to have chickens when we lived up in the valley, we had to move suddenly due to landlord issues and because I didn't have a coop here I gav them away, I really miss them, I love watching them, better than tv smile.png
