is 78% humidity to high for Lock down

Just a very basic cheap digital kitchen scale. It only weighs to the nearest gram, and that's good enough.
I paid £10 for it (maybe $12-15 I think) in my local supermarket, but you can probably get them cheaper than that from eBay or Amazon...

I have been incubating around 35% humidity and at lockdown raising my humidity to around 75%. I used to incubate with the humidity around 50% and then bumping it up to 65% to 70% but since I have been doing the 35%/75%, I have had 100% hatches and always around 95%. I was surprised myself how much my hatches increased.

I may take this advice next time around depending on my hatch rate this time. Thank you.

Day 20...I think I've really screwed up this lock down thing. My humidity was up to 78 and I have two chicks with unabsorbed yolk sacs, (one with a tiny bit of intestines hanging out). I'm upset cause my girls are watching too. Four seem very healthy so far. Pretty sure I let the humidity get too high. Reading so much information from so many different places. I overloaded my brain. Hoping tomorrow will be better for the rest of the clutch. Definitely trying it differently next time.
