unscrew the top and it looks like this. You can use a pair of chopsticks or whatever really to unscrew the silver disc on the invade that had  sidethe notches on either

This Is the pieces that come out

Next step is to put the disc back in first and screw it all the way down
http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s180/bigbopperdo/photobucket-911-1321543456652.jpg

Then put the light cover and leds back in
Will look like this

Put it all back together and the to should look like this now

Eggs fit in nicely

I was going to say the same, but the candler looks good!

That's great!
Thanks!!
Now I need to go get a flash light!  lol...
My 9 light led is different.  the top doesn't come off like yours.  I guess that's why what you said in the other post wasn't making sense to me.

I will be giving this a try and get to the Home Depot tomorrow!

I have an LED flash light and I use a big red plastic cup with a hole punched out at the bottom.  I put the flashlight in the cup and set the eggs over the hole.  It seems to work for me.   My flashlight is long and skinny and has a stand, so I don't need to hold it while candling.  I think it was $10 at Walmart.

I use these cups for everything since they are cheap and we have a bunch left over from Summer parties.  GBS scoop, candler, cut down to raise up the feeders and waterers to prevent birds from pooping in them...

Could you post images of good, bad, developing, etc. eggs for newbies like me to reference?
