not very sure about the EE but I know for a fact your SL Is a girl! had 2 of them that look  just like her, boys look way different.

I miss my chickens and ducks! feel so lost without them!

They both look pretty girly to me for 5 months!  weird!

Thank you I agree. None of them have the plumage of a cockerel. I just hope the neighbors are ok with a dominate crowing girl.

Both are pullets. The EE is a classic female color, and the SLW is (obviously, as others have posted pictures) as pullet as well. So either one is just being the dominant girl of the flock and trying to crow, or you might be hearing the egg song. loock at the neck feathers on boys ther neck feathers are pointy on girls ther neck feathers are roundish.

No crowing at all this morning..... starting to look like just a dominate demanding girl. She only seems to do it when they are still locked in the coop in the morning.
