On nights when freezing is expected I pick up outside waterers and put them in a shed close by chicken yard and then back out in the morning.  I certainly hope it does not get so cold here that the waterers freeze inside!

Here in PA my waterers freeze through the winter in the coops, I take them fresh (unfrozen) lol water at least once a day...

My girls are so indifferent I'm not sure they'd notice a bit of ice on their water.  If it's food/water they go for it! bun
