BOSS is getting so expensive it's ridiculous. Here in Oregon it's about the same. I just paid $32.95 for 50#.

My Girls: 4 EEs, 3 Barred Rocks, 2 Gold Laced Wyandottes and 1 Australorp. Also have 1 dog, 2 horses and 3 llamas. Oops, and a husband. (LOL)

The bird seed sales are late this year due to the poor harvest in America. Last week I picked up a 50# bag for $24.99. It was a week long sale. Agways in your area should have sales right now too. Call and ask around, the sales are November this year instead of traditional September sales.

I had to start buying it in smaller 5 pound bags. I pay 3.50 for that each week.

I live in Central Maine on a small 1 acre "farm". I have a variety of hens, both standards and bantams. I just got a small incubator and want to start hatching some eggs!
