Introducing new guineas!

Tried something new this week.  I have a pen of lavender guineas in an outdoor pen.  I had some of this years hatch in a pen in the barn.  They had never seen eachother but I need to move them outside to the lavender pen.  As many of you know, guineas can be very mean when you introduce new birds.  I put the inside guineas in a small wire cage to move them outside.  Then I put them in the pen outdoors  and left them in the wire cage all day and night(with food and water).  I came out the next morning, opened the wire cage door.  Out stepped the guineas and right in with the others.  Not a single fight or scuffel!  I was really shocked how well it went.
