I wanna rub Blue's wattle and comb!  Look at the texture!

Married to the old dude, 0 human kids, 2 horses, 10 cockatiels, 2 parakeets, 1 sun conure, 1 amazon parrot,  1 eccentric peacock, 1 gsd, 1 pet terrapin, 1 Blue Copper Maran rooster, and 14 world famous Jersey Giants!

 

 

Stan the Man will be missed.

What breed of chicken is this? I love her coloring with all those spots! I would love to get some of these beautiful girls. So sorry you lost her.

Question:  This Red Star Hen's eyes are different colors, and the pupil's are different shaped.  The reddish or bay eye has a dark round pupil, the green eye has a slit shaped pupil, like a reptile.  Any ideas why?  I am guessing she's blind in the green eye, possibly from an injury?
