A few chime in together when one is in the nest. I have some that are quiet and some that are noisy. Glad that my neighbors enjoy it. Some will sing after they lay and sing while they are getting a drink and eat!

THey also yell at one another if one is ready to lay and another hen is in her spot. Oy! You should hear Maisie!!

It sounds like an expression of pain to me.  Those BIG eggs coming out of those little chickens.  hu

I know! It makes me feel so guilty! Tallulah did this three days ago, and STILL hasn't laid another. Can you blame her??!!

Yeah I really need a life as well lol... Which the only way to do that is get MORE CHICKENS!!!! ROFL
I only have 3.. Started with 3 hens and 3 roos (Not knowing all 3 of the roos were roos until they got old enough.) But 2 had to be culled due to thier aggressive nature.. One hopped the fence while I was visiting my mom and got eaten by the dogs.. sad
So to replace the 3 roos I had I am planning on getting 5 Golden Laced cochin bantam hens and 1 roos
and hopefully taking in a RIR roo to go with my EE hens tongue
