I have these 2 unknowns. They have been named Sparks and Big Bertha. Bertha has twisted toes and is currently sporting some very stylish homemade shoes. The first pictures are of Bertha (or Bert, if she turns out to be a he.) The next set of pictures are of Sparks.
These chicks were purchased at a farm and ranch supply. I was told that they were Ameraucana pullets. It doesn't matter, but I was hoping for more layers.

Thank you for looking!

I do think that they are Easter Eggers. Often, sellers call these Ameraucanas, because they probably have some of the Ameraucana genetics in them, so you get a colored egg.

Both look like hens to me.

Both are EE's. Sparks is almost definately a boy, and I think Bert may be too. How old are they. Sparks comb you can already see the three distinct rows in the pea comb this early that is almost absolutely a boy, you should start to see some red coming in across his wing/high back area. Bert I can't see his comb as well, but it is very red for as young as he looks.

Thank you both! I purchased them both the first of November. They didn't know the age, but they were partially feathered.
I was guessing around 8 to 10 weeks old?
The coloring was so different on Sparks than pictures of true Ameraucanas. Bert (still hoping for Bertha) has greenish slate legs...so the green led me to think that he/she is an EE.

That is exactly correct. One of the standard colors for ameracuana's is white, but the legs would be slate, and the foot bottom would be white, not yellow. Also the chances of getting Ameraucana at a feed store is slim to none, they get theirs from major hatcheries, and while there may be a small specialized hatchery somewhere out there that sells ameraucana's the big ones certainly do not.

Sparks may look alot like my Oreo when he gets bigger.

this is Oreo about the same age as your Sparks

And here he is all grown up.

This is a female's comb at about the same age as your Bert(ha), Yeti is an all white EE also.

Thank you fshinggrl and ramirezframing! I don't know were to put them now. They may just hang with the guineas and stay in the guinea house. Bert likes the guineas better than the other chicks anyway.

LOL...thank you chicmom!

Kassaundra, Oreo is beautiful! Sparks does look a lot like that first pic. Very handsome.
I think you are dead on with the EE.
