Those of you that tarp your runs - Page 2

My tarp got full of water and broke the top of my wire run.  I replaced it and snow got it.  If your run has a very steep roof line and good 2x4 framming + heavy wt wire maybe you can get by  I don't know.   Gloria Jean

I've tried many different things to keep water from pooling.  My current set up does that just fine, however being the perfectionist that I am I am taking it several steps farther.  I'll post pics in a few weeks when I'm done.

I tried a blue tarp we already had and it was so dark the girls didn't want to go out. What color tarp do you guys recommend? Do they make clear or white tarps?

The run faces the East side so it gets a lot of morning light.

I too have a girl that likes to fly the coop gig I used chicken wire over the whole top of the run. It rains to much for a tarp, had one over the duck run and now it's in shreds.
