My grandpa's expires next year, and he's 100 now tongue  His driving scared me when I was a kid, so there's no way I'd drive with him now (and he drives a manual truck...lol).

Caretaker of a lovely mixed flock including: australorp, plymouth rocks, wyandotte, d'uccles, silkies, EEs, andalusian, and a few seramas, plus a golden retriever, great dane, and three cats.

I know.  My mom passed away in 1993, but she used to call the town they live in God's waiting room.

I sold my Dad's Suburban when he was 79 after I rode with him to Bob Evans (scary!).  Also moved him OUT of Florida to Kentucky with me.  He understood.  Both of his parents, my grandparents, were killed in an accident when I was 16.

My dad needs to stay in Florida.  He has horrible lungs, due in part to 20 years spent on submarines.  I'd have him here in a heartbeat if I could, but he could never take our winters.
