Whoo Hooo!! - Page 2

Congrats!!!  Everyone photographs their first egg.  And, as the saying goes, you never forget your first one.  There will be many more to come.  I still find it exciting to go out and collect the eggs.  My 12 hens are averaging 275 eggs every 30 days.  It is great!!!  Have fun !

CONGRATULATIONS!  I am so envious!  I have 4 more months to wait for my little girls to hit 6 months and maybe get one!

1 very understanding husband, 1 pug (that came with husband) 2 warmbloods, 3 quarter horses, 5 buff orpingtons

Proud owner of some nice show quality Buckeyes and Silver Penciled Plymouth Rocks.  I love gardening and being outdoors.  I'm lucky to have a great family, and two cute dogs.  I live out in the country on six wooded acres and it's just paradise!  (Except the mortgage payment and bills, of course) tongue.png

It is easy to get excited with you.  That first egg is so special.  Especially if you raised the hens from chicks.  Sigh!  It seemed to take forever waiting for that first egg.

Mine went home with the grandbabies (age 7&9).  They were more excited than I was - if you can believe that.
