Greeting from MD

Thread Starter

Hello!

I've been lurking around the forum for weeks, just joined today.

No chickens yet, and it is going to be at the earliest spring of 2013 before we get any. In the mean time, I am trying to research all I can and be sure that this is something I want to get into.  Being that I've been thinking about chickens since we bought our house 2 years ago, I think it is just going to be a matter of time.  Course, that means marshaling my arguments and convincing my husband!

We currently have 2 cats, and an Anatolian Shepard who is just coming up on her one year birthday.  We are expecting our first child (a girl- squeee!) April 2012 (thus no chickens til at least 2013).

Hi maia and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan frow . No chickens necessary to join the fun!

Home of the world's cutest dachshund, one crazy blue heeler, two cats,
one fat pony, and many (but not too many!) chickens

Can anyone tell me, how many are too many chickens?
