I am so close to having my little boogers hatching,I wonder how long should they be under the heat lamp? Any advise that you may give for the best care ? I would appreciate your advice:)

My number 9 egg just pipped.  This is the one that was whistling at me through the shell the other day.

I have to leave for a few hours so I'm going to watch the hatch through my phone.

Super, I can't wait to see my babies out. How long do you keep them under  the heat lamp? When they do hatch and ready to  meet the adults is there a certain way of introducing them? I am so scared that my adults will stump my little boogers( God Willing they hatch)

That is the problem we are having Irine. My little ones are seven weeks old. Sometimes when we let them out with the big boys everything is fine, other times they are chased and stomped.

Here is our set-up. We moved the little ones from the garage a few days ago and put their cage inside the emu shelter. At night they are locked in for safety During the day we open the cage and let the little ones have the run of the shelter and lock the bigger ones out. When we are out there we let the little ones out with the big ones.
