Jersey Giant or Australorps or something else altogether?

I have two chickens. One is a 43 week hen, the other is a 18w cockerel. I got the hen from TSC and order the cockerel from a hatchery.  I assumed they were what they told me they were, but now I'm not so sure. Neither of them have yellow on the bottom of their feet. The bottoms are almost the same color of their legs (a slate color but lighter). Do Jersey's ever have dark colored feet or are they always yellow?

Sorry never thought to take a picture of the bottom of their feet but can if needed.

that's an aussie ( Australorp). Jersey Giants have the same colored leg but the bottom of their feet is yellow.

Got pictures today and I'm so disappointed. Wrote to the hatchery and asked about the Jersey Giant and his feet. I read that hatchery JG often don't have right coloring coloring do to cross breeding for better egg production and very difficult to tell the difference between a Lorp and JG.

Odin's feet (do to the lighting they look darker then they actually are).

they look like Jersey Giants for sure. Normally Australorps the bottom of their feet are black or slate. That person at TSC doesn't know what they are talking about when it comes to tell the difference between JG's and Australorps espicalley us who breed them. Sorry sad  If I want a good hatchery bird like a Australorp I go through Meyer Hatchery. Or Efowls.  Tractor Supply sometimes the person does know what they are talking about.

It's like when I got more Dark Cornishes and they had them with Cornish x's and the lady didn't know which was which. So I had to tell her that the white ones are the Cornish x's. And the ones that were dark were Dark Cornishes. Sorry sad Jersey Giants are great chickens too. But I love my Aussies ( Australorps )

If they are JG then they are very poor quality, there is no yellow at all on their feet and the hen at 43 weeks weights about the same as all the other NON-JG hens I have. As for the cockerel it is a wait and see with him too but he doesn't have a stitch of yellow either.
I'm so confused.
