Breeds, breeds, what breed are they?

We adopted our little chicks from a friend  so we don't know who's what breed or who's a boy and who's a girl. They are 5 weeks old now and I think we've figured out the boys from the girls, but still not luck with the breed.

Muddy Waters is a girl, we think and she has greenish legs.

Mahognay is probably a boy.

Butter looks like a boy to us.

Peanut is a girl.

We think Sunshine is a boy.

And little Midnight is a girl.

Can anyone help identifying the breed?
They are probably mixed.

The ones with green legs are probably Easter Eggers. The ones with feathers on their legs look like they are a Cochin cross, more than likely with a Easter Egger (EE). Just guesses though, I am sure someone will chime in with more knowledge.

I still go with Muddy Waters being an Ameracauna.  Looks just like my 6 week old Ameracauna girls.

The reason I say EE and not Araucanas is that "true" Araucanas are rumpless and bearded. So that is why I will stick with EE.

The white feather foot, Sunshine, is  probably a Light Brahma mix.  It  has the black feathers coming in the right areas.  It looks like my Light Brahma mixes (mine are mixed with Barred Rocks and ?).  Butter definitely looks like a Buff Orpington.  Muddy Waters definitely has some Araucana (or EE, I've never known the exact difference) in it (leg color) and looks like it might be mixed with Partridge Rock.  The others I'm not so sure!
But, I really love your Peanut!!  I think she's beautiful!

Thanks for the help. I guess it doesn't
really matter, we were all just curious.
My son wants to eat eggs that are 'not
white'. We're thinking we will have
brown and from Muddy Waters maybe
blue-green.

Muddy Waters is definitely an Amerucana. She has a rump, so she isn't an Arucana.  Don't I have one that is just like her. EE don't tend to have the blueish legs.

Ameracaunas have 8 recognized colors, Muddy Waters doesn't fit the bill, so to speak. tongue I'd say she's a pretty EE. Here's a page with pic's of the recognized colors for Ameracaunas: http://www.ameraucana.org/scrapbook.html

I
also think Butter looks like a Buff Orp.

Sunshine looks like a Light Brahma.

Peanut is adorable I'd guess Cochin cross- same for Midnight.

No idea what Mahognay is though I did get a similarly colored chick from a Buff over Black cross.

Cute babies!
