Hawk Attack Stopped By Larry the Peacock!!

Thread Starter

My son just witnessed a hawk and our pet peacock, Larry, trying to kill it. th

The hawk was attacking a roller pigeon in an unused duck pen with a cattle panel roof. Larry, the peacock, had ran in the open gate to the pen and attacked the hawk! The hawk got its wing stuck in the fence and my son swears Larry was trying to kill the hawk! The hawk pulled its wing free, hit the roof of the pen, bounced off the ground....  all the while having one honked off peacock beating the tar out of it, before escaping.

WOOT!! Go Larry!! You rule!!

He's always been an exceptional bird. He LOVES his chickens and farm friends. He's the first to greet new critters and always makes a point of visiting all the pens.

Thanks Highlander for posting Super Larry's picture for me on page 3! Or click this link:

Wow!   Good for Larry!    woot

Count the campfires by glowing flames, never by the ashes that fall. Count your days by the golden hours, don't remember clouds at all. Count the nights by stars, not by shadows. Count your life by smiles, not by tears. And with joy on every birthday, count your age by friends-not years.
