The dogs are Chester with his soft granite pillow of choice and Rags (as in he went from rags to riches when we rescued him). My horse is a handsome Kiger Mustang - handsome, if I say so pinching myself to be so fortunate.

We rescued a "poodle-type" dog a couple of months ago.  She was left outside, free to run roads and and was eating out of dumpsters and garbage cans.

The day after we brought her home we took her to the groomers and said, "Do the best that you can, she is about a year old and has never been groomed".  When I walked in to pick her up later, I took one look and started crying... She looks just like our other two standard poodles!
