I hatched (well my Light Syssex bantam hatched) six runner ducklings and they're now 3 weeks old and great fun! I've never kept runner ducks before and I love them! Mrs Bantam is a very good mummy, although they are getting sort of big for her to sit on now!

Welcome and how absolutely precious! Gotta love those devoted broody hens!

is it possible for runner drakes to start getting their curly tail feathers at 7 weeks? i swear i saw a curl starting already

also, any tips on getting good photos? they take off running whenever i get the camera out, and all i seem to be able to get is a blurry shot of them running away :p anyways, this shows the duck that looks like it's tail feather is lifting up to curl.

My Runners are 7 weeks old and I haven't seen a drake feather yet. Might just be a feather getting ready to come out.

I am still working on getting some really good pics.
