Egg weight loss. How much per week?

Thread Starter

Last year I did not keep track of the weight loss of my eggs but this I'd like to do a better job monitoring th humidity.  Does any know what my target should be from week to week.

I'm getting the incubator set for  97 to 97.5 and 25% humidity.

Mine were around 7-10 grams a week
Sao started 545g hatch 470g
Neso started 580g hatch 518g
Big Bird started 590g hatched 520g

I had data on 22 eggs from last season that hatched and they all were in that same ballpark.

I would leave a small 6 oz glass of water in the incubator refilling as needed.
