Does any one have a receipe for chocolate dump cake that does NOT use a packaged cake mix and cherry pie filling. My DD had one and I lost it. It was a great chocolate cake, with the frosting added to the cake as soon as removed from oven and chopped nuts on top. if any one had one would love to have it for christmas.

My dump cake is awesome - no pie filling, but it does use boxed cake mix.  Have you checked out AllRecipes.com???

Here is another one.... That frosting was supposed to be red lol

Stir and Bake Chocolate Cake

1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2-cup cocoa (I use Hershey's Special Dark)
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
2 cups flour
3/4-teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3/4-cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 teaspoons vinegar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Prepare pan you plan to bake inround, oblong, cupcake tin, etc.

Mix dry ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine.

Add the liquids and stir with a fork just until blended; batter will be fairly thin.

Pour into prepared pans and bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes for cakes or 15 to 17 minutes for cupcakes.

If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once!

Sissy....

I grabbed the sugar cookie dough out of the frig when I was making my pumpkin pie and used it for the crust...it was sitting right next to my pie crust dough. I thought the pie crust seemed a little off but I was in a hurry and didn't give it a second thought until the edges started to burn way before the pie was cooked. Talk about a mess!!!!! barnie
