A loss of one in a first litter of 10 is really great odds. It's typical to lose a pup for one reason or another. Just keep an eye on her since as you know, it's not uncommon to smother them too.

Ive been waiting to catch her pick one up in her mouth to move, but she hasn't done that yet..Hope i get a pick of that..

I was a long night last night for us, up every hour or so to check on her and the pups..but she got lots of good sleep last night, apparently she wasn't worried as much as we where.....

One thing is, she does not want Hunter(THE DADDY) near here whelping box..She showed here teeth at him a growled, so he just stays away from her now..

Of course they are fine going out to the bathroom together..she even wanted to play A LIL WITH HIM, but then remembered she has babies and ran up the steps quickly to get inside the house to them..

How exciting......I WANT A PUPPY!!!! But my DH says no.

well wouldnt you know it!!! ive been waiting for those puppies! but the puppy bug got hold of us and yesterday while we where out, wouldnt you quess, some guy was giving away puppies!! 3 kids dieing for a puppy+ some guy with a bunch of puppies = bringing home a puppy!!! they are all very cute though and im sure you will have no problem finding them homes!!!
 
Yes i know how that goes with the kids and wanting one..That is ok, I think one is spoken for already and we have someone else coming from Jersey to put a deposit on the one with the yellow ribbon..

Enjoy your puppy they grow really fast...
